J.D. Power Names Most Dependable Vehicles
In J.D. Power’s study on the most dependable cars on the road, it was no surprise that many of Thompson’s models are among the country’s sturdiest vehicles. Tough cars mean more than just dependability – they combine quality, durability and road-ready staying power.
J.D. Power’s 2010 Dependability study measured problems experienced by owners of 3-year-old (2007 model-year) vehicles, rating those with the least problems highest. Toyota earned more segment awards than any other brand, and Lexus and BMW especially impressed in the premium categories. See which models were most dependable in their segments:

BMW 3 Series on AAA Top Commuting Vehicle List
It’s no wonder we all want to love our cars…not including errands or leisure travel, the average motorist spends about 41 minutes per day traveling round trip to and from work. AAA recently ranked cars on practicality, safety, comfort, fuel efficiency and affordability, finding the best cars for commuting. The type of vehicle you drive can ease both the expense and pain of a long commute, according to the American Automobile Association.
It’s clear why the BMW 3 Series was an AAA pick. The first sports sedan remains the best by many measures.
