Lexus CT 200h Breaks the Mold
Arriving in 2011, the Lexus CT 200h – a five-door hybrid with aggressive styling, highly responsive handling and slick features – is unlike anything Lexus has ever created before. According to Lexus, hybrids don’t always have to be about flowery, sunshine-filled days in the park. So why are they calling the new CT the “Darker Side of Green?”

First, it’s smarter. With ultra-low emissions, the CT 200h offers four selectable driving modes: Eco, Normal, pure EV and Sport. The new CT 200h is designed to deliver a sporty driving experience with maximum fuel efficiency.

Secondly, it’s sleeker. Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels and tires, the design evokes a young, edgy attitude and the interior offers a contemporary, spacious cabin. Standard features will include fold-flat rear seats, SmartAccess keyless entry, a 6-speaker Lexus Premium audio system with a CD player, integrated iPod control, Bluetooth and an XM Radio receiver.

Top Green Cars of 2010
Kelley Blue Book has released its list of 2010’s Top 10 Green Cars! Toyota’s models came in strong – like the Toyota Prius, which claimed the number one spot, as well as the Toyota Highlander Hybrid which, according to the folks at Kelley Blue Book, is the most fuel-efficient three-row vehicle on the road. BMW also made the list with the 335 diesel – with immediate power, acceleration and a 36 miles per gallon fuel economy. To be considered for the green Top 10, each vehicle was required to offer fuel economy and CO2 emissions superior to vehicles in its class and also provide safety, comforts and driving enjoyment.
